My favorite game

my favorite game is texas hold em because it is a great combination of luck and skill. You must have a great knowledge of the game to be constantly have a chance at winning.

Reality..

I believe reality to be anything that exists. It can be anything or everything, but as long as it exists, it is reality. Reality perceives things as they are, not as how they appear or are portrayed.

Reality always involves everything that is and has been. The very idea what all reality encompasses can be ambiguous and mind boggling. However, my belief is that reality consists of something that has existed or exists and is perceived exactly how it is, not how it may seem.

Apple's Ability To iMarket

One of the reasons that Apple has been so successful with their products is their ability to advertise. When an Apple commercial comes on, most people just watch in awe as Steve Jobs unveils the latest features of iMacs, iPhones, and Apple TV's.  As the iPhone's popularity grew, so did Steve Jobs' marketing ideas. He began by unleashing the basic iPhone, which isn't all that much different from the latest version. He then released the 3G, 3GS, and now the iPhone 4 with the iPhone 5 expected to hit the stores within the year. Apple has the ability to persuade people that their current mobile phone or iPhone isn't up to new age standards, and that the few minor changes and additions to each newer version are almost essential to stay in touch with today's world. Let's think about it. The only changes between the iPhone 3GS and 4 are a better display, better camera and video quality, an extra camera on the front, and FaceTime. Now while these are all very cool and innovative features, are they really worth buying a newer version of the same phone? I first got the iPhone 4 in February and couldn't believe all that it was capable of. I thought FaceTime was the coolest thing that Apple had done yet. But honestly, I have used it maybe once since the first couple of weeks that I had the phone. Sure having a HD camera and video recorder are awesome, but really all of the additional features in my opinion are not worth the upgrade from a previous model like the 3G or 3GS. It is Apple's ability to market and make you feel that you need the latest technology and will use it daily, that allows them to sell so many of their products with just a slight tweak of their previous one.

Hey, I'm Lee Lineberger and I'm from Macon, GA. I completed the Bridge Program last year so I guess I'm a sophomore. I am a Pre-business major right now and will probably go into financial management. I chose Clemson because I have a long history of family going here and I have been a tiger since I was born. In high school, I played basketball and tennis. I also enjoy saltwater fishing and hunting deer, turkey, and dove. I like going on vacation to places such as Colorado, Litchfield/Murrells Inlet, and St. George Island, FL. I hope one day to own my own business whatever it be and have a sports fisherman boat. I'm looking forward to having a great semester in Eng 103.
